White peach and floral aromas precede pure, intense flavours of citrus and stone fruit. Exhilarating acidity provides good structure and ensures excellent ageing potential.
Our premium Riesling's clean, refreshing citrus flavours are indicative of a growing season that started off with very cold winter temperatures, followed by a lack of heat spikes normally associated with Okanagan summers. Heavy rain during June interrupted fruit set and ultimately contributed to substantially reduced yields.
Despite the somewhat tumultuous growing season, our Riesling vines, which were planted in 1978, produced exceptional quality fruit. Pristine free-run juice, fermented at low temperatures, perfectly captures the power and elegance of this vintage.
